SEN Teacher – Specialist Secondary Setting

Location: Sunderland
Pay: £140–£220 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

We’re recruiting an SEN Teacher for a specialist secondary setting supporting pupils with complex learning, emotional and behavioural needs.

You’ll deliver a personalised curriculum designed to meet pupils where they are and help them move forward with confidence.

The role includes:
• Teaching small secondary SEN classes
• Adapting curriculum content creatively
• Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour
• Working closely with TAs and therapists
• Tracking progress and supporting reintegration where appropriate

You’ll be a great fit if you:
• Hold QTS or equivalent
• Have experience in SEN, PRU or alternative provision
• Are resilient, reflective and relationship-focused
• Want a role with real purpose

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
